The University of Essex is committed to developing an entrepreneurial spirit among its students and staff. Whether or not students decide to set up their own businesses, an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset is an asset in any work environment.The Research and Enterprise Office (REO) provides a range of services and events that are designed to help people set up their own enterprises and provide them with insights into the world of work. Our fund-raising challenge supported by the  the REO, as a part of the Student Enterprise Programme.

With the help of Fiona Clegg, our Prince’s Trust mentor & Charlie Wheeldon, Student Enterprise Manager of REO – Team Essex became national finalists in the Million Makers challenge, raising fund for the Prince’s Trust.
